The science is clear. We can build resilience at any age.

This is our mission:

  • Educators feel equipped to teach any student who walks into their classroom

  • The latest relationship, regulation, and discipline science is actionable and felt in the school and classroom

  • Building a culture of concern and promoting staff and student wellness is essential

  • Discipline happens in school instead of putting kids out

  • We are committed to using consequences to teach

    Restorative Practice Coaches

Restorative Practices are skills and strategies that build stronger communities by replacing punishment with conflict resolution. Our team training model supports long-term behavioral and relational wellness.

  • Poverty Paradigm Simulation

Our interactive simulation offers a glimpse into the experiences that many of our students and families face each month. This interactive experience is specifically designed for use by communities and schools.

  • B2R26 Conference

Our annual conference brings together like-minded individuals from across the nation to share ideas, resources, and connections around the issues of building resilience, healing trauma, and repairing relationships in our schools & communities.

  • RISE

Elementary schools nationwide are grappling with a critical issue: disruptive and unsafe behaviors among students. RISE offers a research-based alternative to out-of-school suspension or when students are not classroom-ready.

  • While we are based in Hutchinson Kansas, our team will travel to you. We have visited many states and other countries and would love to find a way to best serve you.

  • That’s okay! We work with many districts and organizations outside of the ESSDACK membership community and would love to work with you.

  • College credit is an important part of relicensing for professionals so if this is something you need, let us know and we will arrange a way for educators to earn credit.
