Poverty Paradigm Simulation
What does it take to get kids & families out of poverty?
It takes all of us! Join the Resilience Team to help ensure that poverty for your students is not the destination.
What to expect at the ESSDACK Poverty Sim:
Up to 250 people can experience what it is like to live in poverty for one month. Each participant will role-play a person experiencing survival mode for one month, simulated in 15-minute weeks. The result is a better understanding of why families on lower economic levels do what they do. The simulation is specifically built to be taken into communities and schools to initiate the paradigm shifts necessary to activate great generational change.
Resilience Team members Ginger Lewman and Carmen Zeisler engage directly with school districts and community leaders to help find solutions to student poverty and trauma.
Let us bring this experience to your school & community!
