Jen brings more than two decades of experience in public education, having served in a variety of roles, including elementary teacher, high school social studies teacher, instructional technology specialist, curriculum leader, student services coordinator, and career and technical education (CTE) coordinator.
Jennifer earned a Bachelor of Science in General Science from Fort Hays State University, completed her elementary education certification through Newman University, and holds a Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction from Wichita State University. She has also completed graduate coursework in educational leadership and administration through Emporia State University.
Throughout her career, Jennifer has been passionate about helping educators create engaging, student-centered learning environments that prepare students for success beyond graduation. Her experience includes curriculum development, instructional coaching, school improvement, assessment, career and technical education (CTE), school accreditation, and the meaningful integration of artificial intelligence and educational technology to enhance teaching, learning, and educator productivity.
Jennifer enjoys partnering with schools to support instructional excellence, build teacher capacity, strengthen continuous improvement efforts through accreditation, and help educators confidently leverage emerging technologies to improve student learning. She believes meaningful relationships, collaborative problem-solving, and continuous learning are the foundation of successful schools.
Outside of work, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her family, golfing, and traveling.
