I took a group of teachers on a fieldtrip on Second Life today and it was fun!! We created accounnts and jumped into this virtual world and I watched as the teachers giggled, chatted and learned. They were so very engaged as we learned to move around and communicate in that world.

Tonya hits homerun! One of the best things Tonya does is demystify processes that many would imagine to be difficult. As she shared some different techniques and technologies, I was struck by the wealth of great and easy to use approaches.

WOW - I'm sitting at MACE listening to Marco and being blown out of my seat. Marco shares great experiences and his sense of humor. He has a very human way of sparking thinking and leveraging change! I look forward to hearing more from him here.

 An educator friend of mine recently walked into her room and found herself surprised and hurt. The room was nearly empty of all of its furnishings and appliances. She just stared in amazement for a time, remembering how she'd worked hard with her students to earn the money to fill the room with everything she and the kids would need.

PBL is a powerful, constructivist approach to learning and a model that can encourage 21st century skills. Industry tells us that it needs employees that can solve problems, collaborate and find creative solutions.
