Yard Sale Day!

I'm sitting here living one of America's greatest events....the yard sale. I haven't had one for 15 years and I'm starting to remember why!

Second Life Rocks!

I took a group of teachers on a fieldtrip on Second Life today and it was fun!! We created accounnts and jumped into this virtual world and I watched as the teachers giggled, chatted and learned. They were so very engaged as we learned to move around and communicate in that world.

A 'Virtual' Real-World Lesson

 An educator friend of mine recently walked into her room and found herself surprised and hurt. The room was nearly empty of all of its furnishings and appliances. She just stared in amazement for a time, remembering how she'd worked hard with her students to earn the money to fill the room with everything she and the kids would need.
