Visiting Grandparents for Christmas!

It was fun having the kids and grandkids home for Christmas last week. As I reflected on my childhood I had a chuckle to myself. The Coalition For Career and Technical Courses is a new project facilitated by ESSDACK in partnership with postsecondary institutions, all K-12 schools, and the other service centers around the state of Kansas. The response to this project has been off the charts! The post secondary institutions, mainly community colleges and technical colleges have been a dream to work with. At this point there are over 800 courses listed on the website. And Fort Hays State University has yet to enter their 30+ programs. Our goal, and perhaps it's a dream, is to make career and technical courses from post secondary institutions available to every student in the state of Kansas and their desired career field.
