Career Expo Student Resources

Please reference the teacher and student resources that are provided at the bottom of the Career Expo website. There is a teacher packet and should reviewed thoroughly and a student task list that will provide direction for your students if you don’t have other predetermined goals for the event.

A map and detailed directory will be provided to students on the day of the Expo. The directory will also be posted to the Career Expo website along with a web-based interactive version of the map.

Sharing contact information with
colleges and public service representatives:

Please instruct students to download the BadgerScan contact sharing app on their mobile device prior to the event. BadgerScan will act as a virtual attendee badge for each student. Students and Exhibitors will be able to easily exchange contact information using the built-in QR code and code reader. Students will also have the option to fill out written information cards. But with the BadgerScan app, students will enter their contact information into the app one time and easily share it with exhibitors. Refer to the BadgerScan Instructions on the Career Expo website.

Outdoor exhibitors and equipment:

We want to continue attracting businesses and organizations that require large amounts of display space, so please encourage students to visit the outdoor exhibitors. Students should be allowed to visit outdoor booths as soon as they arrive at the event. There is no need to direct your students into the Mall immediately when you arrive.  (Though we do ask that a school staff member check-in at the south Mall entrance Information Booth.)
