Kansans Can & School Redesign

Kansas Will Lead The World In The Success Of Each Student

ks can logoKansans are demanding higher standards in academic skills, employability and citizenship skills, and the need to move away from a system that relies exclusively on state assessments. The Kansans Can Redesign project focuses on creating learning environments that develop those skills and encourage long-term student success.

ESSDACK can help.

We’re working together with schools across the state helping them to break down ineffective educational practices and create learning environments that work for every student.

Dr. Randy Watson, Kansas Commissioner of Education, recently spoke to 100+ ESSDACK superintendents, principals, and district leaders about the importance of the Kansans Can vision, the Redesign process, and the vital role schools play in the future of each Kansas student. It was a powerful message that we want to share with you.

We’ve chunked out his keynote into 13 smaller sections – each designed to lead stakeholder groups through an exploration of the current K-12 educational system and the power of the Redesign project. Our hope is that your conversations lead to an intense focus on the success of each student.
