Our Career Events are great opportunities for students, parents, and interested community members to explore a wide variety of options for college, career, and other post-secondary opportunities. For K-12 educators, the Expo and Careers Day are chances to experience the different choices available to students following high school and can help schools assist their students in the development of Individual Plans of Study.
For high school students:
Career & Post-Secondary Expo
November 5 & 6, 2019
8:30 – 2:30
The Career Expo is the perfect place for high school students to see the many different choices available to them following graduation and talk with businesses, college representatives, and military recruiters. Students can use the Expo to increase their awareness and knowledge about their career options.
For middle school students:
February 19, 2020 (2nd day will be Feb. 20 if needed)
8:30 – 3:00
During the Middle School Careers Day, middle school students will rotate through learning by doing job stations separated by the seven career fields as defined in the Kansas Career Clusters Model.
Are you a business, two or four year college, or public service representative interested in preparing Kansas students for their future? We need your participation to help middle and high school students understand opportunities in your industries and educational fields.
Head over to our Career Education website for more information about how you can be a part of these events!
